I have the brotherhood and watched the first episode but had no idea what was going on...so figured if I was going to watch it I would have to get the first series. Will do that eventually ^-^

haha yea I tend to vary on what I like depending on what I feel like watching at that moment. Clannad is great and the after story is as well with the last few episodes linking back to before the start makes it truly amazing.

Have you ever heard of an anime called claymore?
It is pretty shonen with all the fighting but its pretty good.
