| Well, I’ll not call a guy with that face and that kinda history… rich history of killing number and number of people, a kid, tbh. That applies for both the brothers, Lye and Roy, at that. If anything btw, for all these episodes, we were getting a very little of both of them, so yeah, I’m glad that we didn’t switch over to different people and showed the kind of menace they are in every bit of insanity, this time. Really though, you have someone like Regulus, or had, who will yap, but you might have a comeback for that, but for someone like Roy, forget about a comeback, you’d just regress to a state where it’d feel nice… to go and jump from somewhere, just to avoid any further exchange. Someone needs to do something about Capella as well, as it is about time, and I mean, she just keeps getting back time after time, so yeah, all that effort feels a little too wasteful. Next episode for her I think, but yeah, can we not have Reinhard just jumping from one place to the other and make the efforts of other people look like nothing? Lol. We get he’s the strongest but still lol. Anyway, these people should better start respecting my man, Otto, and keep his name in their mind as well… because, it doesn’t feel right otherwise lmaooo. Dude did whatever he could but yeah, he a normal person, can't expect him to blast someone like Lye to a different orbit... so just for that reason, Beatrice's return felt so rewarding. Now they have some real stuff to deal with, still, but only one episode is left. Looking forward to how they would conclude ALL of this. |

| White Fox have just elevated this series each and every week. Could not have asked for a better second half of the season! With Re:Zero getting the red stage at anime Japan this week, hopefully we get that Arc 6 annoucement. We are set up for an amazing finale next week though, wow this was great. Finally some spotlight on gluttony, one of the cruelest abilities of the witch's cult. Taking the memories of people and their abilities, leaving gaping holes in the lives of entire families and communities is a fate worse than death. The way he so flippantly talks about it too.. need him gone asap. Even the normally calm, cool and composed Julius lost it when lye started talking as his brother. The memories may be gone, but the love and feelings remain. Always good to see Al faceoff with a sin archbishop as crazy as Capella and leave her bewildered. The scene of her respawning with rat bodies was so disturbing. Good thing Reinhard showed up and was able to save Ferris and the others. I guess they'll show us the convo he had with his dad and grandfather next week in the finale? Ferris seiyuu did such a great job of selling how terrified they were too! Said it before, but so much respect for how far Otto has come. He is such a valuable asset in battle now. Figuring out Lye's ability and maintaining his calm/formulating a strategy! LMAOOO at nobody knowing his name so he literally can't fall victim to Lye. It's also really funny seeing how quickly the sin archbishops lose their composure when things don't go according to plan/the gospel for them. Beako is back too LETS GOOOOOO. Can't wait to see her take on Lye next week. Full faith in White Fox to deliver an amazing finale. |

| Beatrice is back lets gooooooo Some LN Extra Details (Volume 20, Prologue & Chapter 1.2 & 2.2-2.3 ) - Otto learned earth magic as a self defense - Ricardo using Sonic attack, which is his creation that he taught to the trio cats. His power is same as the trio, but since he is using it alone, he received full recoil of it, unlike the trio cats, which has a blessing to share the burden. - Lye uses El Hyuma ice hails and Gaston tanks it, protecting White Dragon's Scale team behind him. Differences from LN - At the end of the Julius part, which is the ending paragraph of the prologue, it seems to be cut out, which Roy breaks Julius' sword with his 'Ultimate Palm' attack, then he uses 'Twilight Mage' magic to swallow up Julius's magic attack and finally, he uses 'Twin blade serpent' sword technique to slash Julius. - Reinhardt coming in to save in this episode is an original scene not in the LN - The one Lye eats is named Hicks Hartmann in the anime, but it is Hicks Faltman in the LN, Not too important difference as far as I know. |

| Lye's intimation as the true Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, really is wearing on both Julius and Richardo, especially the former being affiliated to him as fellow childhood friends, but with a hatred so strong that it puts him on edge. Indeed, the Authority of Gluttony to consume people and their memories does get noticed by Otto, and the challenge doesn't let up by stopping him from learning of any more names. Even towards Capella, Al sees no hope of ever winning against her, so turning the building against her seems to be the most effective. The momentary reunion with Anastasia and Felix, only for Capella to come out unscathed alongside demi-beasts, even her words of love are psychotic enough for Felix to relieve yet another nightmare, which thanks to Reinhard, the subduing only lasts for the time being. Beatrice has come back to stop Lye's hideous dinner meal, and to perceive just how many people he consumed, his presence alone is a menace. But wth only 1 episode left, how is this going to get resolved? |

| How the heck are they going to finish this next week, jeez? Beatrice’s entrance was epic but man, the glutton is a tough nut to crack and that Rem impersonation was sickening. I’m saying that as an Emilia fan, btw. My condolences to the Rem fans. They’re one-upping every episode with the following one, and the stage is set for the next! Looks like Lugunica will be excusing herself which makes things a little easier and I hope Glutton won’t get away too… Can’t wait for next episode! |

| Another phenomenal episode. Even this late, the season just keeps getting better and better! Gluttony are terrifying villains. Not necessarily because of their looks or fighting styles. But because they can literally erase your loved ones out of existence and then take their memories. Not being able to even remember your family is just a terrifying feeling. I feel bad for Julius because he lost his brother. HOLY SHIT. White Fox just can't stop cooking when it comes to Capella! She's guaranteed to steal the scene whenever she's on-screen because she's probably White Fox's favorite villain or something. The rat transformation scene animation was CLEAN. And the performance by Aoi Yuuki is phenomenal as always! And I gotta say, the voice acting of Lye and Roy by Kengo Kawanishi is also incredible. The voice acting of all the Sin Archbishops is so freaking good! And finally, Beatrice is BACK! About damn time. The thing they did with the title card was also really freaking cool! Man, it makes me sad that Season 3 only has one episode left. I really hope Season 4 will be announced in Anime Japan 2025 on March 23. Weekly art by character designer Haruka Sagawa!  |

| To finally see Beatrice again after such a long time (literally just a day or two for Subaru and the rest lmao) is so wonderful and for this to be the penultimate episode for Season 3, that just made her re-appearance that much greater. I wish they could've given this season a legit 2-cour 24 episodes instead of the 16 we got... 1 more ep wont cut it :( |

| It was this piece of shit all along. He's the one guy who needs to die no matter what. Beatrice finally back after the entire season. Otto actually did really well in this fight. Poor guy though lmao, suffering from success. Just how many people have gluttony consumed though. It's like he's consumed atleast one people related to the main or secondary characters. Also interesting Anastasia isn't supposed to know how to use magic. Really enjoyed Capella part again, mix of grotesque and amusement. |

| Thank the anime gods Beatrice is getting involved next episode. We have had three straight weeks of relatively unimportant side character fights. Animation has been nice, as usual. I mean, Gorgeous Tiger and Wilhelm are fine as characters and their fights/side stories were interesting enough, but just not two characters I would say I really care about much. This week were characters I definitely don't give a fuck about in Aldebaran and the Wolf Dude. I can barely even remember who the fuck they are, lol. The witch cult enemies are fun, but I just wish they were fighting more significant good guys. At least it looks better for next episode with Beatrice and Otto teaming up. |

| Brat he may be but Lye is a most annoying one. The techniques that Lye can use show well the sheer amount of people that he's consumed. If anything the transformations for Lust was done really well this season. The most unerving aspect of the gluttonies is the fact that they can steal all of one's memories of a person and ensure that no one remembers them at all. A truly devastating power. About time for Beatrice to take to the field. Having Subaru fight agaist Lye is defo gonna be traumatic. |

I am happy she got away and didn't die here so she can come back later. She got the gospel I think so that's and L. Al fought her well but yeah no chance defeating her without Reinhardt. Al = Subaru theory had a field day with all his death lines. Feeling bad for poor Felis but she can't even cure Crusch by killing Lust. Nah I think my best girl is done for. Clearly Felis isn't in stable condition either. Fck Capella that I would say if she wasn't one of if not the best part of this season. I am down bad...  Gluttony arch bishop imo atleast the worst kind of them all. Roy has eaten Julius brother and also maybe Ricardo wife/mother? It ain't looking good for Julius. It wasn't looking good for Otto too but Beatrice is back to save him at right time. It's been so long if forget why she was absent but looks like she has recovered her mana. | Okay so I would say this was a bit better of an episode than the last few. Since regulus died gluttony is definitely the most interesting of the sins that are left. In which I believe its just Lust and Gluttony so that in itself is interesting. I think they have a very interesting ability and the mere fact its held by multiple people is interesting to see. I just really hope reinhard don't show up to make things light work. Generally I hate overpowered characters with a passion with the occasional exception. For example Rimuru tempest in my opinion is the best representation of a ridiculously strong character because they make the show work perfectly around him. Another example is gojo who I think isn't a good representation because they quite literally have to make up excuses for him not to be around because when he does he just kills everyone. Reinhard I'm still trying to collect my opinions on but as a character he's not really that interesting. Hell Theresia and Whilhelm are far more interesting. But I think as a representation of the strongest he's been handled fairly well as a character. But putting that aside man am I glad Capella left cause she is so god dam annoying. Like sloth and gluttony are annoying but at least they are interesting. Capella is just plain annoying. |

| I feel so happy that they used the S2 last episode rabbit fight OST as Beatrice's theme. The Capella animation was absolute nuts. Again, its funny that people used to think once that White Fox will nail the writing side of adaptation while struggling in the animation department for this arc while almost the opposite has happened. |

| CAPELLA I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND ALSO AOI YUUKI PEAK VOICE ACTING PERFORMANCE. Capella Mouse's transformation animation is close to WIT Studio's titan transformation level. Beako's entrance is one of the best entrances I've seen in a while. Can't wait to see how they close season 3! and also who's Rem? |
| The battles continue, and they have never been more dangerous... Both Capella and Lye have some very dangerous powers, and I don't imagine it'll be easy to take them down, unless you're Reinhard, who can apparently save everyone by jumping around the city. These two opponents have the power to take other people's appearances or names and use them as part of themselves, so whoever's fighting them will have to exercise a lot of caution for sure. It was wonderful to see Beatrice make her return, and I hope her and Otto can take Lye down. Only one episode remains in this season, and I have to wonder how they're going to wrap all this up as Arc 6 awaits. |

| Why do all the Archbishops speak as if they had brain damage or were in a competition for campiest character in fiction? With Betelgeuse it felt perfectly in character and added to him, but it gets repetitive. Would the story be any worse if some of them talked normally? I'm fine with it if there's a perfectly good explanation for it further along the line. |

| Capella and Al's fight continues to be an amusing one with how their exchanges have been going. She easily lives up to her "lust" title with the way she acted towards Al. Her rat transformation above ground was gruesome, but also really well animated. Unlike the other witches, she's choosing to bow out of the fight rather than battle to the death, which I wasn't expecting. Then we get to Lye/Gluttony, who loves to yap and yap to torment his opponents due to his skills, especially on poor Julius, who did lose his cool more than once. Otto is handling his own really well, but when it did look like he ran out of luck, the arrival of the amazing Beatrice came to save him. I'm really glad that she is back, but Lye didn't waste time to torment the pair with his own impersonation of Rem. With one episode left, Lye needs to be taken down once and for all. At least then, we can get a somewhat happy end to this arc. |
| Wow this show keeps on giving, all the sin archbishop fights are intense. Capella actually seems like the worst one because she doesnt seem to have an easy trick to her invincibility. I wonder where Subaru is going to show up though. Also.. just 1 ep left? But 2 sin archbishops?! Is this getting a second "second part" or a cruel cliffhanger before S4? |

She should've had her Gospel from the beginning like the other archbishops, and she demanded a Tome of Wisdom.
Why the Gospels constantly make archbishops retreat before finishing off any of the main characters is a massive mystery.
| @casual42 isn't that was Roswall's one (I forgot the name) that Otto brought here and they wanted this. That's why she probably retreated. I am little confused by this aswell. |
