| Nobara still seemed to be wide open most of the fight. Fuck that cursed spirit. Nanami going ham. All-round the episode was done very well. Enjoyed how they portrayed the concussion stuff. |

| My girl Nobara seriously needs a power-up or some shit. Well, at least she took that demolishing punch to the face like a pro and even managed to assist Nanami by covering his blind spot. Also Nanami visuals sure went crazy this episode. |
| Okay, I get how Toji was able to overpower grandson guy, but some things still don't add up. Toji's body is prevented from producing cursed energy, nor can Toji's body absorb or take in cursed energy, due to his Heavenly Pact like he stated when he was last alive. So that's how his body is "special". How did his body's properties cause the transfer of his soul into his (borrowed) reincarnated body? Once his soul was reunited with his body, it makes sense why Toji's soul would be able to defeat grandson's soul while both souls were trapped inside a body that could not use cursed energy. Grandson probably relied on his heightened cursed energy affinity ever since he was a kid, under his grandmother's apprenticeship and all. Toji's will on the other hand is like a roaring lion without the need for any cursed energy use. Grandson without the basis for any of his powers didn't stand a chance. This still leaves the question of how a body that cannot receive or create cursed energy "called" its soul back to it when the grandmother only channeled the body back. All I can think of, and the only way I can conceive of this happening, is if channeling a resurrection like this must be a continual process until the host person is completely transformed into the reincarnated person, and grandmother just stops it midway to preserve the mind of grandson and do this multiple times. Pretty nifty trick. But if channeling Toji was the normal outcome of grandmother's channeling and the only thing that could stop it was grandmother pouring cursed energy into the ritual or grandson, then Toji's body's ability would prevent grandmother from stopping short of a full resurrection. If that's how this works, then lol. Grandma should've done her homework on her reincarnation target and put 2 + 2 together to figure out that reincarnating a body that can't react to cursed energy means that reincarnation is a one-way ticket without an off or reversal switch. | Okay Ijichi is apparently alive for some reason. Must have been doing well in some Japanese popularity poll /s. Feel like Nobura shoulda been able to take that guy. Last time I think we saw her do a thing was when she went all black flash or whatever tf at the end of season 1 and that's supposed to be some bullshit op technique that our protags just happened to be able to do no sweat. They never really explained the crazy dudes cursed technique tho so maybe that's something to do with it. Anyway brick shithouse Nanami was pretty cool. This arc seems like a good opportunity to show off some of the teachers and whatever fighting so hopefully we see some cool Mei Mei stuff. |
| Great to see Nobara back in action, tho it wasn't great to see her get like an actual concusion from that sword punch. They like, Mortal Kombat x-ray styled, showed her brain moving around after getting hit. Was kinda cool but insanely worrying. I was also gonna be so choked if that ponytail dude killed Nitta. Also got hella pissed when he cut her achilles and started stabbing her while Nobara was out of it. Lucky the goat, Nanami, came in and absolutely destroyed him. So Toji is back now, not entirely surprised that they're plan of only bringing back his body failed. Guess the sorcerers have a new problem to deal with now. The next ep will have Yuji fighting the blood dude and Mei Mei fighting the smallpox deity; which she'll most likely beat and go on to fight Geto. So I'm hyped. |

| This is absolutely incredible. Nanami drawings are solid, and full of details while also about the simplistic design this season is going for. Souta Yamazaki was indeed the star of this episode. |

| The only good highlight was Nanami's chad moment. The rest was not so interesting and I swear I get tired of idiot bad guys who laugh and have "oii" expressions all the time for no reason. I get I'm not supposed to like such characters, but it's annoying. Like "haha", "hihi" I am edgy 10-year-old baddy boi -> this is the worst and laziest way of making any antagonist, Mahito is another perfect example of such lazy writing. Maybe some middle schoolers will like it, but I won't |

| I don't know... Nanami was really the highlight because honestly THAT was so cool and badass but Toji and Mei Mei were awesome too!! This episode was an adrenaline rush! It's only ep 12 but it's already like this, I don't know how thrilling the next episodes will be ;' I didn't read the manga, so I wanted to ask, when will Yuuta appear? Also, Choso said he wants to avenge his brother on Yuuji, who is this brother? |

| No fucking shot the author just gave Touji a round 2, i just ate my words from last episode so fucking hard and honestly couldn't be happier. The goat comes back, and i'm really interested to see his reaction to the world after 10 years, and also the world of sorcery. Wonder if he'll still be able to compete at the top levels, or if the newer generation have managed to surpass the old one. Also needing to see the Megumi and Touji interaction like rn. Definitely do feel like the subtle hints about how the "the body and soul are separate" and "the body can overpower the soul for control" is gonna all lead back to Getou and Kenjaku's situation in some way. Nanami this ep was fucking cracked out, both in the level in detail they put into him to heighten how intimidating he is as a grade 1 sorcerer and also how swole and pissed off he was this ep. Also Tsuda Kenjirou once again doing a fire job at his roles. But yeh, the level of detail they put into Nanami this ep to show off how intimidating he was as a buff ex salary man grade 1 sorcerer, and the emotional value of him always tried to never let his emotions make decisions for him, but after constantly seeing his co-workers die on the field, he really needed to let this one out. |

| Oh boy, that punch. Makes you reconsider your sexuality. I know for one that the animators certainly did. Toji's back for a Round 2. The way he came in by hijacking someone's soul(or was it body?) was so fucking badass. Surprisingly not my first time seeing someone use this hijacking method to come back. |
